Sometimes it happens that when you want to search for any Files or Folder on your computer, the search/Search Companion comes empty/blank
& you can’t search anything.
This can happen if your searh companion file is broken or corrupted.
You can fix this, by registering a couple of system DLLs.
Follow these steps & fix it.
1. Login as Administrator or equivalent.
2. Click START, Go to RUN
3. Execute the following commands:
regsvr32 wshom.ocx
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
You will get messeges DllRegisterServer in <filename.dll> succeeded. after each dll execution.
