Ghost is the essence of Rolls-Royce in its simplest & purest form.
Powered by a new twin turbo 6.6-litre V12 engine, it is virtually silent, with 80% of its torque available from idle. Coupled with the 8-speed ZF gearbox it accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 4.9 seconds and has a governed top-speed of 155 mph.
Each Ghost is a hand-build in order to give a unique looks. 20 days is required to build a single Ghost by 6 mens.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost will be launched globally at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, 2009. The company has started accepting bookings and the actual deliveries would commence from Q1 2010.
It is priced Rs 2.5 crore
