Shah Rukh Khan has received a awesome gift on his birthday.
The International Lunar Geographic Society, a New York based organisation, has named a crater on Earth’s Moon, to honour the legendary bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan.
They named a crater in the Sea of Tranquility on the moon after SRK.
The S R Khan crater is part of the Arago crater group, named for François Jean Dominique Arago, a Catalan-French mathematician, physicist, astronomer and politician who lived from 1786 to 1853 .
The Crater is located at 3.4° North (latitude) and 20.8° East (longitude) on the so-called Earthside of the Moon. It measures approximately seven kilometers in diameter.
SRK’s fame & popularity has grown so far that a lunar crater is named after Shah Rukh Khan, and he is the only movie celebrity to have lunar crater in his name.
